Overview

The Kupo KCP-640M Steel Baby Boom is a professional-grade boom arm designed for precise positioning of lighting fixtures, reflectors, and grip accessories in film, television, photography, and studio environments.

Built entirely from steel with a chrome-plated finish, it delivers strong support and stability while maintaining smooth adjustability on set. The boom mounts via a 16 mm (5/8") baby stud and is designed to be used with a standard grip head, which locks the boom securely in place while allowing balance adjustments along the arm.

It extends from 124 cm to 217 cm, giving flexible reach for overhead or side lighting setups. A built-in rear hook allows the attachment of a sandbag or counterweight, helping maintain balance when the boom is extended.

The design includes a heavy-duty tilt locking system, allowing the operator to fine-tune positioning and secure the angle firmly during use. This makes it a reliable solution for controlled overhead lighting, hair lights, bounce setups, and backdrop positioning.
