The Kupo KCP-626B Ultra Boom is a heavy-duty professional boom arm designed for precise overhead positioning of lighting fixtures, microphones, and grip accessories in film, television, photography, and studio environments.
Constructed from high-strength steel with a black powder-coated finish, the boom offers excellent rigidity and stability while supporting demanding production setups. The telescopic design allows the arm length to extend from 120 cm to 212 cm, giving operators flexible reach for overhead lighting and suspended equipment placement.
The boom features a built-in 28 mm (1-1/8") junior receiver with a welded 16 mm (5/8") baby pin, allowing compatibility with both junior stands and standard baby-mounted fixtures. A geared crank handle system enables smooth extension and controlled adjustment, while the integrated brake mechanism helps maintain stable positioning under load.
For balance and safety, the rear section includes a counterweight hook designed to support sandbags or counterweights during operation. The central pivot point allows precise boom angle adjustment and secure locking for controlled overhead setups.
