Overview
The Kupo KCP-646 Heavy Duty Tilt Head with Crank Handle is a professional rigging tilt head designed for precise, controlled adjustment of heavy lighting fixtures in film, television, photography, and studio environments.
It is specifically engineered to replace the standard friction-lock tilt head on large reflector systems such as the Broncolor Para FB series, allowing single-operator control via a geared crank mechanism. This enables smooth, accurate tilting and locking of large modifiers or fixtures without manual strain or readjustment.
The unit is built from a combination of aluminium and steel for maximum strength and stability under load. A precision gear-and-crank system provides controlled movement, while the locking mechanism ensures the head remains securely fixed once positioned.
It is compatible with 30–35 mm diameter tubes and includes a 28 mm (1-1/8") junior stud interface, making it suitable for integration into professional boom and stand systems. The heavy-duty construction is designed for demanding overhead setups where safety and fine adjustment are critical.
