Overview
The Kupo KS-470 Super Knuckle with Hex Baby Pin is a compact and highly adjustable mounting solution for professional film, television, photography and virtual production applications.
Part of Kupo's modular Super Knuckle system, the KS-470 uses two ball joints inside a single housing. A central locking knob secures both ball joints simultaneously, allowing equipment to be positioned quickly and precisely at virtually any angle.
One side features a 16 mm (5/8") Hex Baby Pin, which can be mounted into compatible grip equipment such as the Kupo KCP-700 Convi Clamp. The opposite side features a 1/4"-20 male thread, allowing cameras and other equipment with a 1/4"-20 female mounting point to be attached directly.
The Super Knuckle supports loads of up to 8 kg, while its aluminium alloy construction keeps the unit compact and lightweight at just 200 g. This combination makes it useful when equipment needs to be positioned securely without adding a bulky support system.
When combined with the Kupo Super Convi Clamp, the KS-470 can also be used as a flexible mounting solution for camera tracking devices and other equipment in virtual production environments. The modular Super Knuckle system can be expanded with other compatible accessories to suit different rigging requirements.
