Overview
The Kupo KCP-806 Side Arm with Baby Pin Receiver is a professional heavy-duty rigging arm designed for offset mounting of lighting fixtures and accessories on C-stands, light stands, and studio rigging systems in film, television, photography, and broadcast environments.
It functions as an extension arm that allows you to position a light or accessory away from the main stand column, creating more flexible placement options without needing an additional stand. This is especially useful for lowering fixtures, creating side lighting, or mounting additional gear in tight studio setups.
The arm is built from high-tensile 6061-T6 aluminium alloy combined with alloy steel components, giving it a strong yet relatively lightweight structure. It is designed to clamp onto tubes ranging from 32–38 mm, including standard C-stand risers.
At the end of the arm, it features both a 16 mm (5/8") baby pin and a baby receiver, allowing compatibility with a wide range of lighting fixtures and grip accessories. The dual-end configuration provides flexible mounting options for both male and female baby fittings.
A key advantage of this design is its approx. 445 mm offset extension, which allows controlled repositioning of lights without moving the main stand. It also supports loads up to 20 kg, making it suitable for professional lighting setups.
