Overview

The Kupo KS-029 Monitor Arm Adapter is a professional rigging solution designed for securely mounting lightweight production monitors onto standard 5/8" (16 mm) baby pin systems. It is widely used in film production, television, broadcast, and photography environments where on-set monitoring needs to be flexible, adjustable, and safely supported.

Built around a robust steel mounting plate, the KS-029 is designed to support small to medium production monitors (typically up to approximately 8 kg, depending on configuration). The plate features VESA-compatible mounting patterns (75 × 75 mm and 100 × 100 mm), allowing direct attachment of industry-standard monitors and screens.

At the centre of the unit is a double ball joint mechanism, which allows smooth pan and tilt adjustment. Once positioned, the joint is secured using a locking handle, ensuring the monitor remains stable even during movement or environmental vibration on set.

The base of the adapter includes a 5/8" baby receiver with a locking knob and set screw, enabling fast and secure mounting onto light stands, Convi clamps, or other grip hardware. This makes it a highly versatile solution for DIT stations, director’s monitors, and on-set video village setups.
