Overview
The Kupo KCP-831 Half Coupler is a professional heavy-duty rigging clamp designed for securely mounting lighting fixtures, truss systems, and studio equipment onto structural tubing in film, television, theatre, and live production environments.
It is built from high-strength 6061-T6 aluminium extrusion, giving it a strong yet lightweight structure suitable for demanding professional use. The clamp is designed for standard industry tubing with a diameter of 48–51 mm, making it compatible with most stage truss and lighting pipe systems.
Unlike slim or specialty variants, this is the standard half coupler version in the Kupo range, offering a straightforward, reliable locking system using an M10 bolt and wing nut (butterfly handle) for quick tool-free tightening. The curved inner surface helps protect truss structures from damage while ensuring a secure grip under load.
It is rated for professional use with a Safe Working Load up to 500 kg, making it suitable for heavy lighting fixtures and rigging applications where safety and stability are critical.
