Overview
The Kupo KCP-550 Adjustable Gaffer Grip is a professional quick-mount multi-purpose clamp designed for securing lighting fixtures and accessories to both flat and round surfaces in film, television, photography, and studio environments.
It features a robust steel and aluminium construction with an adjustable jaw system that allows it to grip a wide range of surfaces, including pipes, truss, poles, and flat edges. The clamp incorporates a variable tension control knob for precise tightening, ensuring a secure and stable hold during use.
The design includes dual mounting options: a fixed 16 mm (5/8") baby stud and a removable/reversible 16 mm baby stud housed in a receiver. The reversible stud also provides 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threading, giving additional flexibility for mounting cameras, lights, or accessories.
With its adjustable jaw range and integrated grip-and-mount system, the KCP-550 is widely used for fast lighting setups, temporary rigging, and versatile on-set support applications.
