Overview
The Kupo KCP-290B Gag Grip Head (Black) is a professional 2.5" grip head designed for mounting and positioning lighting control tools such as flags, scrims, reflectors, and rigging accessories in film, television, photography, and studio environments.
It is designed to function as a secondary grip head in more complex setups, allowing additional mounting flexibility when primary grip heads are already in use. The unit features four V-shaped jaws that accommodate standard accessory pins and tubing sizes, including 5/8", 1/2", 3/8", and 1/4" hardware.
A large ergonomic T-handle provides strong torque for secure tightening, while the internal aluminium friction disc system ensures stable locking and precise control under load. The construction combines aluminium and steel components for durability, with a black powder-coated finish to reduce reflections on set.
This model is commonly used on grip arms or C-stands to independently position additional light control tools in compact rigging setups.
