Overview
The Kupo 013BS Backlite Base with Female Socket and KS-017 Stud is a professional low-profile lighting base designed for mounting fixtures close to the ground or table level in film, television, photography, and studio environments.
This heavy-duty steel base is engineered for stability in low-angle lighting setups such as background illumination, product photography, and controlled studio lighting environments. It features a 5/8" (16 mm) baby receiver, allowing direct mounting of compatible risers, stands, or lighting accessories.
Included is the KS-017 universal adapter spigot, which provides 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 threaded mounting options, giving flexible compatibility with a wide range of lighting and grip equipment.
The base folds flat for easy transport and storage while maintaining a strong steel construction capable of supporting professional production loads.
This unit forms the base component of the Kupo Folding Base Mini Stand system when paired with the 013-A pole.
