Overview
The Kupo KCP-654 2" Coupler With Swivel Camera Mounting Plate provides a versatile mounting solution for attaching a camera to 2" (48–51 mm) tubing. Designed for professional film and television production, it is particularly useful for car mount camera rigs where quick setup and precise camera positioning are essential.
The system combines a high tensile-strength aluminium coupler with a heavy-duty steel ball head and camera mounting plate. The coupler securely attaches to compatible 2" tubing, while the ball head allows the camera to be adjusted to the desired angle. A ratchet handle provides fast and secure positioning once the required angle has been established.
The camera mounting plate features a standard combination of 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 female threads, together with threaded bores and slots. This allows a camera or compatible dovetail slide plate to be mounted directly to the plate, giving the rig greater flexibility for different camera configurations.
For secure attachment to the tube, the coupler uses a stainless steel speed wing nut that can be tightened by hand. A 19 mm hex end also allows the connection to be firmly tightened using a wrench when required.
