Overview
The KCP-831B-T is the T-handle version of Kupo’s standard half coupler, designed for faster, more controlled tightening in demanding rigging environments like film sets, studios, theatres, and live production.
The key difference compared to the standard wing-nut coupler is the T-handle locking system, which gives better leverage, especially when working overhead or in tight rigging positions. It’s built for situations where you want faster adjustments without tools, but still need serious load security.
This clamp is part of Kupo’s heavy-duty 48–51 mm truss range and is designed to sit directly on standard industry pipe and truss systems. The body is made from 6061-T6 aluminium, giving it a strong but relatively lightweight build for its class.
It’s rated for professional rigging loads up to 500 kg SWL, making it suitable for lighting fixtures, truss connections, and structural support in production environments where safety and stability matter.
The M10 carriage bolt design prevents unwanted rotation during tightening, helping ensure a secure lock every time.
