Overview

The Kupo KS-474 Super Knuckle Die-Casting Shell with Knob is a professional modular rigging component designed as the central housing of Kupo’s Super Knuckle system. It is used in film production, television, photography, and studio environments to build highly flexible mounting arms for lights, cameras, monitors, tablets, and other production accessories.

Constructed from die-cast aluminium alloy, the KS-474 shell forms the core structure that connects two 26 mm ball joints, allowing full multi-directional positioning when paired with compatible Super Knuckle components. The single central locking knob controls both ball joints simultaneously, enabling quick and secure adjustments during production workflows.

The shell features deep internal sockets that increase tilt range and articulation, allowing greater flexibility in tight rigging situations. A built-in silicone rubber sleeve helps hold the unit together when changing components, improving ease of maintenance and assembly.

This modular design allows users to mix and match accessories on either side of the shell, making it a versatile base for custom grip, lighting, and monitoring setups.
