Overview
The Kupo KCP-710B Super Convi Clamp is a professional modular grip clamp designed for lighting, camera, and rigging applications in film, television, photography, and studio production environments.
It is part of the Kupo Convi system, acting as a versatile base clamp that can be mounted on tubes ranging from 5–51 mm (0.2"–2"), as well as flat surfaces using an integrated saddle adapter. This makes it one of the most flexible mounting solutions in the Convi ecosystem.
The standout feature is the ratcheted handle mechanism, which allows the clamp to be tightened or loosened even in tight or restricted spaces where a full rotation is not possible. This makes it especially useful on crowded rigs or complex lighting setups.
At its core, the clamp includes a hexagonal Convi receiver system, enabling compatibility with a wide range of accessories such as grip arms, studs, and lighting mounts. A built-in spring-loaded safety locking system ensures accessories remain secure even if the locking screw is loosened.
Constructed from lightweight die-cast aluminium with stainless steel components, the KCP-710B balances durability with portability, while supporting loads up to 20 kg (44 lbs).
