Overview
The Kupo KCP-700 Super Convi Clamp is a compact, heavy-duty professional rigging clamp designed as the foundation of a modular grip system used in film, television, photography, and studio production.
It is engineered to mount securely onto tubes ranging from 5 mm to 51 mm (0.2"–2"), as well as flat surfaces, making it highly versatile for rigging lighting fixtures, arms, and accessories in a wide range of production environments.
At the core of the design is a hexagonal receiver system, allowing compatibility with multiple Convi accessories such as grip arms, studs, and mounting adapters. This transforms the clamp into a flexible mounting hub for lighting and camera setups.
The clamp includes a spring-loaded safety locking system, ensuring that attached accessories remain securely fixed even if the main locking screw is loosened. Rubberised contact pads help protect mounting surfaces while improving grip stability.
Constructed from die-cast aluminium with stainless steel components, the KCP-700 is lightweight yet strong, with a high load capacity suitable for professional use.
