Overview
The Kupo KCP-700B Super Convi Clamp is a professional modular rigging clamp designed as the foundation of a versatile grip system used in film, television, photography, and studio production environments.
It is engineered to securely mount onto tubes ranging from 5 mm to 51 mm (0.2"–2"), as well as flat surfaces, making it suitable for a wide variety of lighting, camera, and rigging applications. The clamp forms part of the Convi system, allowing users to attach multiple accessories such as arms, studs, and mounting adapters via its integrated hexagonal receiver.
The clamp features a spring-loaded safety locking system, which ensures that attached accessories remain secure even if the locking screw is loosened. A saddle design allows it to grip flat surfaces firmly, while rubberised internal pads improve grip and help protect mounting surfaces.
Constructed from lightweight die-cast aluminium with stainless steel components, the KCP-700B is built for durability while maintaining a compact, manageable weight for on-set use. It supports professional load requirements of up to 20 kg, making it suitable for demanding production setups.
