Overview

The Kupo KCP-170 Hybrid Head is a compact, professional mini grip head designed for precise mounting and positioning of lighting, video accessories, and lightweight rigging components in film, television, photography, and studio environments.

It functions as a mini double grip head, featuring dual V-jaws that accommodate common tube sizes, combined with a 16 mm (5/8") baby stud and a 3/8"-16 female thread for versatile accessory mounting. Its design allows multiple configuration options for small-scale rigging setups where space and precision are critical.

A high-pressure internal gasket sits between two friction discs with a toothed interface, ensuring a strong, non-slip grip even under load. The aluminium die-cast body provides rigidity while keeping the unit lightweight and easy to position on set.

With its compact size and low weight, the KCP-170 is especially suited to tabletop setups, car mounting, product photography, and miniature or tight-space rigging applications where full-size grip hardware would be impractical.
