Overview

The Kupo KCP-173 Mini Articulated Arm – Double Sec is a heavy-duty, precision-positioning arm designed for mounting lighting fixtures, cameras, and accessories in film, television, photography, and studio environments.

It consists of a multi-section articulated design built around aluminium tubes and integrated mini grip heads, allowing for extended reach and highly flexible positioning. The dual hybrid head system provides secure locking and smooth articulation, making it suitable for positioning equipment in tight or awkward spaces where standard arms are not practical.

Each end features a 16 mm (5/8") baby stud with multi-milled flats for secure mounting into standard grip hardware. The studs include both 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 threaded connections, offering wide compatibility with industry-standard accessories.

The arm uses high-pressure friction discs combined with a toothed locking mechanism to ensure strong, stable positioning under load. Despite its extended length, the unit remains lightweight and portable, making it suitable for both studio and on-location use.
