Overview
The Kupo KCP-230 Grip Head with Swivel Pin is a professional 2.5" grip head designed for flexible mounting and precise positioning of lighting control tools and accessories in film, television, photography, and studio environments.
It features a built-in swivel 16 mm (5/8") baby pin, allowing fixtures and accessories to be positioned at adjustable angles before being securely locked in place. The design also includes an internal 16 mm baby receiver and an external 28 mm junior pin, making it compatible with both baby and junior stand systems for maximum rigging flexibility.
The grip head uses a dual-disc locking system with four V-shaped jaws, enabling it to securely grip a wide range of standard accessory sizes. A high-torque T-handle provides strong tightening force, while the internal friction disc and bearing-supported mechanism ensure stable and reliable locking under load.
Constructed from aluminium with a stainless steel central bolt, the KCP-230 is built for durability while maintaining smooth operation in demanding production environments.
