Overview
The Kupo KCP-215 Grip Arm Support is a professional telescopic support arm designed to reinforce grip arms in film, television, photography, and studio lighting setups. It is used to increase load stability and reduce unwanted sagging or slipping when mounting heavier lighting or grip accessories.
The unit features an extendable aluminium column with a ball joint pivot clamp on one end and an angle-adjustable mounting attachment on the other. This allows flexible positioning while providing additional structural support to existing grip arm setups.
A key function of the KCP-215 is improving load-bearing performance by transferring weight and stabilising the arm under pressure. It is commonly used in combination with compatible Kupo clamp systems such as the KCP-930 or standard 16 mm (5/8") grip fittings, making it suitable for a wide range of studio rigging configurations.
Built from aluminium, it remains lightweight while still offering the rigidity required for professional on-set use.
