Kupo Double Super Convi Clamp (KCP-720)

Overview

The Kupo KCP-720 Double Super Convi Clamp is a professional modular rigging clamp designed as part of the Convi system for film, television, photography, and studio production environments.

It is essentially two Super Convi Clamps joined back-to-back, creating a rigid 90-degree connection point that allows users to securely join tubes, crossbars, or rigging structures together. This makes it especially useful for building custom support systems such as overhead frames, crossbars, and modular lighting rigs.

Each clamp in the system can mount onto tubes ranging from 5–51 mm (0.2"–2"), and also supports flat surfaces, giving it wide compatibility across grip and lighting setups. The integrated hexagonal Convi receiver system allows attachment of a variety of accessories such as arms, studs, and mounting hardware.

A built-in spring-loaded safety locking mechanism ensures that accessories remain securely attached even if the locking screw is loosened during use. Constructed from lightweight die-cast aluminium with stainless steel components, the clamp balances strength with portability while supporting loads up to 20 kg.
