Overview
The Kupo KS-097 Baby Ball Head Adapter with 3/8" Tap is a professional grip accessory designed to mount ball heads onto lighting stands, clamps, booms, and other grip equipment. Constructed from lightweight aluminium, the KS-097 features a dual-interface design with a 16 mm (5/8") baby receiver and a 28 mm (1-1/8") junior stud, making it compatible with both baby pin and junior receiver systems. This allows it to be used across a wide range of grip gear depending on the setup requirements.
The top plate includes a 3/8"-16 mounting point designed for attaching ball heads or other equipment with a standard 3/8" thread. Three set screws on the round plate help secure the mounted device and prevent unwanted rotation during use, ensuring a stable and reliable connection.
Its compact and portable design makes it suitable for on-location work where versatility and fast setup changes are essential.
