Overview
The Kupo KS-024 1/4" Head Mounting Plate is a professional rigging adapter designed to mount tripod heads and other 1/4"-20 threaded accessories onto standard 5/8" (16 mm) baby receivers used in film production, television, theatre, photography, and broadcast environments.
Constructed from a combination of aluminium and brass, the KS-024 delivers a strong yet lightweight mounting solution suitable for daily professional use on set. The 60 mm round mounting plate features a central 1/4"-20 threaded stud, allowing direct attachment of tripod heads, cameras, or compatible accessories.
Three integrated set screws beneath the plate provide additional stability by locking the mounted head securely in place, preventing rotation or movement during operation. The base includes a 5/8" (16 mm) baby stud, making it compatible with Convi Clamp systems and any grip equipment with a standard baby receiver.
This makes the KS-024 a versatile solution for converting lighting stands or grip hardware into compact camera support points or elevated mounting platforms for lightweight production gear.
