Overview
The Kupo KCP-241B 40" Grip Arm with Hex Baby Pin (Black) is a professional extension grip arm designed for mounting and positioning lighting modifiers and accessories such as flags, scrims, reflectors, and small fixtures in film, television, photography, and studio environments.
It features a 40" (100 cm) steel extension arm combined with a 2.5" grip head for flexible positioning at distance from a stand or rigging point. The arm is built from 16 mm (5/8") steel tubing with a machined, textured surface to improve grip stability and reduce slippage during use.
At the end of the arm is a baby hex pin with six flat surfaces, designed to prevent mounted fixtures from rotating once secured with a set screw, effectively allowing the arm to function as a mini boom.
The integrated grip head uses a dual-disc system with four V-shaped jaws, compatible with standard 5/8", 1/2", 3/8", and 1/4" mounting hardware. A high-torque ergonomic T-handle provides strong locking force, while internal friction discs and a steel central bolt ensure long-term durability and stable load handling in professional production environments.
The black finish reduces reflections on set, making it suitable for controlled lighting setups where unwanted glare must be minimised.
