Overview
The Kupo KCP-833 is a professional heavy-duty half coupler with an integrated eye ring, designed for rigging lighting, truss systems, and suspended loads in film, television, theatre, and live production environments.
It is built on a standard 2" (48–51 mm) coupler body, but adds a key feature: a rotating M12 eye ring, which creates a dedicated suspension point for chains, steel cables, safety wires, or rope systems. This allows it to function both as a structural clamp and a hanging anchor point in one compact unit.
The coupler is made from high-strength 6061-T6 aluminium extrusion, giving it a strong yet lightweight build for professional use. The eye ring can rotate 360°, allowing flexible alignment of hanging loads without twisting the truss connection.
It is designed for demanding rigging environments and is commonly used when lighting fixtures, scenic elements, or equipment need to be safely suspended from truss or pipe systems.
