The Nanlux NL70 Parallel Beam Reflector is a high-performance long-throw lighting modifier designed for the Evoke series. It produces an ultra-narrow 6° parallel beam, delivering extreme light concentration and intensity for cinematic applications where precision, punch, and distance are essential.
Engineered to simulate natural sunlight or searchlight-style beams, the NL70 transforms high-output Evoke fixtures into long-distance lighting tools capable of maintaining beam integrity over extended throws. The result is a highly controlled, near-parallel light source with minimal spill and maximum directional impact.
The internal optical system is designed to maximise output efficiency while maintaining a consistent beam profile, even at long distances. When paired with compatible Evoke fixtures, it significantly increases effective illuminance, making it one of the most powerful beam-shaping accessories in the Nanlux ecosystem.
A key feature of the NL70 system is its integrated light-guiding structure and extension control design, which work together to reduce unwanted spill while preserving beam density. This makes it especially useful for exterior lighting, large-scale film production, and scenes requiring hard, directional “sun-like” illumination.
Despite its scale and output power, the reflector is engineered for practical on-set use.
