Specifically engineered for the Evoke 5C, the AS-MTS-EV5C attaches magnetically to the front of the fixture, creating a cool-touch handling surface without affecting the light's performance or usability.
As the Evoke 5C operates for extended periods, the front of the fixture naturally becomes warm. The Thermal Shield remains cool to the touch, allowing you to safely reposition or handhold the light without waiting for it to cool down. This makes it especially useful for handheld operation, fast-paced productions and situations where the light needs to be adjusted frequently.
Unlike conventional heat shields, the AS-MTS-EV5C is designed to work seamlessly with the Evoke 5C magnetic accessory ecosystem. It preserves compatibility with compatible front-mounted modifiers, including the FL-5 Magnetic Fresnel Lens, allowing you to continue shaping and controlling your light without removing the shield.
