Overview
The Nanlux Evoke 5C is an ultra-compact, professional RGB LED spotlight designed for filmmakers, content creators, and photographers who need precise, flexible lighting in an incredibly small form factor. Despite its size, it delivers full cinematic colour control and integrates seamlessly into the wider Evoke ecosystem.
At the heart of the Evoke 5C is Nanlux’s advanced Nebula C8 light engine, featuring eight colour emitters (Deep Red, Red, Amber, Lime, Green, Cyan, Blue, and Indigo). This allows for an exceptionally wide colour temperature range from 1000K to 20,000K, along with precise green/magenta adjustment—making it highly adaptable for mixed lighting environments and creative colour work.
With high colour accuracy ratings of CRI 98 and TLCI 98, the fixture ensures natural skin tones and consistent colour reproduction across professional productions.
Designed for versatility, the Evoke 5C is compact enough to be hidden within a scene or used as a practical light source, yet powerful enough to provide accent lighting, subtle fill, or detailed highlights. It outputs approximately 496 lux at 1 metre (5600K), making it ideal for close-range lighting applications such as product shoots, interviews, and cinematic detail work.
A built-in lithium battery enables fully portable operation, with up to around 50 minutes runtime at full output, and extended use at lower intensities. The fixture also supports USB-C power and charging, offering flexibility for both studio and on-location setups.
Built for real-world production environments, the Evoke 5C features an IP67-rated body, making it resistant to dust and water—even capable of brief underwater use.
The light supports multiple control methods including onboard controls, app control via NANLINK, CRMX wireless DMX, and wired DMX/RDM, making it suitable for both small-scale shoots and complex professional lighting setups.
With a growing ecosystem of magnetic modifiers—such as diffusion domes, Fresnel lenses, snoots, and projection attachments—the Evoke 5C becomes a highly adaptable lighting tool that fits into spaces and scenarios where traditional fixtures simply cannot.
