Overview
The Nanlite FC PowerController is a dedicated power and control unit designed for use with Nanlite FC-series LED spotlights, including the FC-300B, FC-500B, and FC-500C.
This unit enables battery-powered operation by supporting V-mount batteries, allowing compatible FC lights to be used on location without reliance on AC power. It features dual V-mount battery plates that support both 14.4–14.8V and 26V V-mount batteries (sold separately), providing flexibility across different power setups.
In addition to power delivery, the FC PowerController functions as a remote control interface for the connected light. It includes onboard controls with two knobs, two buttons, and a built-in display, allowing users to adjust settings without needing to access controls on the light head itself. This is particularly useful when the fixture is mounted high or in hard-to-reach positions.
When connected to AC power, the unit can also be used to operate the light while simultaneously charging attached V-mount batteries. This dual functionality makes it a practical solution for both studio and location workflows.
The controller can be mounted or positioned conveniently using its built-in hanging strap, and it also features a rear mounting plate for attachment to stands using compatible clamps (sold separately).
