Overview
The Nanlite COB Protective Cap with Bowens Mount (AS-CAP-BW-B) is a dedicated protective accessory designed to safeguard the COB (chip-on-board) LED light source on compatible Nanlite LED monolights.
This cap attaches directly to the Bowens S-mount of supported fixtures, covering the exposed COB LED to protect it from dust, debris, and physical damage during storage or transport. It is commonly used as a replacement or spare for the original protective cap supplied with compatible Nanlite lights.
The design ensures a secure fit while maintaining compatibility with Bowens-mount systems, making it easy to attach and remove as part of standard packing workflows. It is particularly useful for protecting sensitive LED components when lights are being transported between locations or stored in cases.
This cap is compatible with select Nanlite fixtures, including models in the Forza series (such as 200, 300B, 720/720B) and FS-series lights like the FS-150.
Important: This cap is intended for protection only and should not be attached while the light is in operation.
