Overview
The Kupo KS-090 Yoke To Stand Adapter is a professional rigging adapter designed to bridge the gap between TV-style lighting yokes and standard motion picture grip systems. It is widely used in film production, television, theatre, and studio environments where lighting fixtures need to be adapted between different mounting standards.
Constructed from solid chrome-plated steel, the KS-090 features a dual-interface design combining a 28 mm (1-1/8") junior stud with a 16 mm (5/8") baby receiver. This allows lighting fixtures with yokes to be mounted either onto junior stands or onto baby pin-based systems, making it a highly versatile interface piece for mixed rigging environments.
The adapter includes a locking set screw and tightening knob to ensure secure attachment to baby pins or compatible accessories. At the top, it also features a 1/2"-13 threaded bolt, which allows direct mounting into compatible yoke-based lighting fixtures. This makes it especially useful for converting fixtures between different stand ecosystems without additional adapters.
