Overview

The Kupo KS-229 VESA Monitor Mounting Plate with Baby Pin is a professional monitor support adapter designed for mounting VESA-compatible screens onto standard grip and lighting support systems. It is widely used in film production, television, photography, broadcast, and studio environments where monitors need to be positioned flexibly on stands, clamps, or rigging arms.

Constructed from lightweight aluminium with a black anodised finish, the KS-229 is designed for durability while remaining portable for production use. It supports VESA mounting patterns of 75 × 75 mm and 100 × 100 mm, making it compatible with most professional monitors and displays.

The unit features a fixed 5/8" (16 mm) baby pin extending approximately 10 cm, which allows the entire assembly to be mounted into a standard grip head for flexible positioning. A collar design on the pin prevents the plate from sliding completely through the grip head, improving safety and stability during use.

At the end of the baby pin, the KS-229 also includes a NATO rail interface and a 3/8"-16 female threaded socket, allowing additional accessories such as microphones, lights, or mounting hardware to be attached directly.

Four M4 screws are included for securing the monitor to the VESA plate.
