Overview

The Kupo KS-312B Tethermate for MacBook 15" is a professional portable laptop mounting plate designed for tethered shooting workflows in film production, photography, broadcast, and studio environments. It provides a stable surface for laptops used on set, especially during on-location shoots where direct camera-to-computer workflows are required.

Constructed from lightweight aluminium with a black anodised finish, the KS-312B is designed for durability and portability. The platform is sized to accommodate MacBook 15" and similarly sized laptops, with a non-slip surface to help keep the device secure during use.

The underside of the plate includes 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 female threads, allowing it to be mounted directly onto tripods, light stands, or any support system with standard male threading. It also features a sliding accessory rail system with three mounting slots, enabling users to attach additional accessories such as hard drives, cup holders, or mouse trays.

A spring-loaded locking knob secures the U-shaped sliding accessory plate in place, ensuring stability during operation. The design also includes rounded edges for safer handling and reduced risk of damage to equipment.
