Overview
The Kupo KS-049 Scraper with Baby 5/8" Stud is a multi-purpose grip tool designed for fast, unconventional mounting solutions in film production, television, theatre, and studio environments. It combines a rigid steel scraper blade with an integrated 5/8" (16 mm) baby pin, allowing lighting fixtures and lightweight accessories to be mounted in locations where traditional stands or clamps cannot be used.
The thin steel blade is designed to be wedged into tight gaps such as door frames, shelves, set structures, or ladder steps, making it ideal for temporary rigging in confined or irregular spaces. Multiple mounting holes in the blade allow the unit to be permanently or semi-permanently fixed using screws or nails when required, transforming it into a stable custom mounting point.
The integrated baby pin features a knurled neck for improved grip inside grip heads or receivers, ensuring secure positioning of small lighting fixtures, LED units, or accessories.
