Overview
The Kupo KS-159B Junior Adjustable Offset Arm is a professional grip accessory designed to position larger lighting fixtures away from the centre of a stand. The adjustable design gives lighting crews greater flexibility when working around set walls, backgrounds and other obstructions.
The arm extends from 48 cm to 71 cm, allowing you to adjust the distance between the lighting fixture and the stand according to the requirements of the setup. This makes it particularly useful when a light needs to be positioned further over a set or when the stand needs to remain behind an obstruction.
The KS-159B features a 28 mm Junior receiver at one end and a 28 mm Junior stud at the other, making it suitable for professional Junior mounting systems. The light can be mounted using the Junior receiver, while the Junior stud connects to a compatible stand or mounting system.
A safety linchpin is attached to the adjustable mechanism to help secure the selected extension. The arm is constructed from steel and finished in black for durability in demanding production environments.
Because offsetting a lighting fixture also moves its weight away from the stand's centre, the stand should be appropriately weighted and stabilised for the equipment and extension being used.
