Overview
The Kupo KCP-840 Handcuff Quick TV Coupler is a professional quick-lock rigging clamp designed for fast mounting of lighting fixtures and studio equipment onto truss and pipe systems in film, television, theatre, and broadcast environments.
It is part of Kupo’s handcuff-style coupler range, using a trigger-based mechanical locking system that allows fast, one-handed operation. This makes it especially useful when working at height, in tight rigging spaces, or when speed is critical on set.
The coupler is designed for standard 48–51 mm (2") truss and pipe systems, and features an integrated 28 mm (1-1/8") TV spigot receiver with a safety lock system, allowing direct mounting of heavier lighting fixtures without additional adapters.
Built from high-tensile 6061-T6 aluminium extrusion, it balances strength with manageable weight, while the safety locking design ensures secure fixture attachment during use.
Despite its compact size, it supports a professional working load limit of up to 100 kg, making it suitable for studio and theatre lighting applications where quick repositioning is required.
