Overview
The Kupo KCP-616 Duck Bill Clamp, also known as a Platypus Clamp or Quacker Clamp, is a professional grip clamp designed for securely holding foamcore, reflector boards, bounce cards, flags, and other flat materials in film, television, photography, and studio environments.
It features a large 7" duckbill-style jaw with adjustable tension control, allowing users to securely clamp delicate boards and panels without damaging the surface. The clamp can hold flat materials up to 4.5" (11.4 cm) thick, making it suitable for a wide variety of lighting control applications on set.
A welded 16 mm (5/8") steel baby stud with an embossed neck design allows the clamp to mount securely into baby receivers, grip heads, or compatible grip systems. The dual-sided duckbill plate features a white side for blending with reflector boards and a black side for non-reflective setups where light spill needs to be minimised.
Built from aluminium and steel, the KCP-616 combines durability with fast, tool-free setup, making it a staple grip accessory for bounce and flag positioning.
