Overview
The Kupo KP-DS01 Background Paper Drive Set is a practical solution for installing and controlling seamless paper backdrops in professional photography and video studios. The set consists of a pair of expandable adapters that lock securely inside the core of a background paper roll.
One adapter features a plastic drive cog that accepts the included plastic chain, allowing you to raise and lower the background easily and adjust how much paper is rolled out. A built-in tension control helps prevent the paper from unrolling under its own weight, keeping the background in the desired position.
The adapters accommodate paper roll cores measuring 46–78 mm in diameter, making the system suitable for a range of seamless background rolls. The included chain weight keeps the plastic chain taut, making it easier to operate and helping maintain smooth control when raising or lowering the backdrop.
The KP-DS01 mounts to Kupo's specially designed background support hooks, providing a flexible way to build a permanent studio backdrop system or a configurable setup for photography and video production.
