Overview
The Kupo KCP-241 40" Grip Arm with Hex Baby Pin is a professional extension grip arm designed for mounting and positioning lighting control tools such as flags, scrims, reflectors, and small fixtures in film, television, photography, and studio environments.
It features a 40" (100 cm) steel extension arm combined with a 2.5" grip head, providing extended reach for precise placement of accessories on set. The arm is constructed from 16 mm (5/8") steel tubing with a machined, textured surface to improve grip and reduce slipping during adjustment.
At the end of the arm is a baby hex pin with six milled flat surfaces. This design prevents mounted fixtures or accessories from rotating, as set screws can lock securely against the flat faces of the hex profile.
The integrated grip head uses a dual-disc system with four V-shaped jaws, allowing compatibility with standard 5/8", 1/2", 3/8", and 1/4" mounting hardware. A large T-handle provides strong torque for secure tightening, while internal friction discs and a steel central bolt ensure long-term durability and stable load handling.
