Overview
The Kupo 3-Section Wind-Up Stand (Silver 483T) is a professional heavy-duty lighting stand designed for safely lifting and positioning large lighting fixtures in film, television, studio, and virtual production environments. Built from chrome-plated steel, it combines strength, precision, and operator safety through its integrated wind-up crank system and automatic self-locking mechanism.
With a maximum load capacity of 30 kg and a working height of up to 3.8 m, this stand allows a single operator to raise and lower heavy equipment smoothly and safely. Each rotation of the crank raises or lowers the stand by approximately 4.4 cm, enabling precise height control for lighting setups.
The integrated auto self-locking system automatically engages a safety pin inside the column during operation, preventing accidental drop and ensuring secure positioning at all times. A universal combo head supports multiple mounting configurations, including Junior (1-1/8") and Baby (5/8") receivers, along with a multi-directional stud for maximum flexibility.
A built-in levelling leg allows stable setup on uneven terrain, while twin leg braces and a wide footprint provide additional stability under heavy load conditions. Optional caster wheels can be added for improved mobility in studio environments.
