Overview
The Kupo KCP-834 is a professional half coupler with an integrated 28 mm (1-1/8") junior spigot, designed for mounting heavier lighting fixtures directly onto truss, pipes, and structural tubing in film, television, theatre, and studio environments.
It combines a standard 48–51 mm truss coupler body with a fixed junior-sized spigot, making it ideal for fixtures that require a stronger mounting interface than a baby pin can provide. This allows direct attachment of large studio lights, Fresnels, LEDs, and other junior-hung equipment.
The clamp is built from high-strength 6061-T6 aluminium extrusion, offering a strong yet relatively lightweight structure for professional rigging use. The integrated spigot is precision-machined to ensure a secure fit with standard 28 mm receivers commonly used in lighting systems.
A wing nut tightening system allows fast, tool-free installation onto truss or pipe, while the curved jaw design helps protect structural tubing from damage during mounting.
