Overview
The Kupo KS-429 1/4"-20 Camera Plate with Baby Receiver is a professional mounting adapter designed for securely attaching cameras or small accessories to standard grip and lighting support systems. It is widely used in film production, television, photography, and studio environments where compact and versatile mounting solutions are required.
Constructed from lightweight yet durable aluminium alloy, the KS-429 combines a standard 1/4"-20 camera screw with an integrated 5/8" (16 mm) baby receiver. This allows a camera or device to be mounted directly onto grip equipment such as light stands, flex arms, or any support system with a baby pin interface.
The plate features a rubber-padded mounting surface to help protect camera bodies from scratches and improve grip stability during use. Its angled design (approximately 130° between plate and receiver) improves clearance and usability, making tightening and adjustment easier in tight setups.
This compact adapter is particularly useful for on-set monitoring, lightweight camera rigs, and attaching small devices in flexible positioning workflows.
